This 1988 Ford Mustang LX Convertible, is agreat summercolor combination, White on Red, it has a great fuel efficient engine, andit runs and drives fantastic, and will keep you cool in spring and summer. This is one really nice Pony Car! There are some small flaws that we detected, but this is really small stuff, this car speaks to us, it says, take me to the beach or for a spring or summer drive!
The mechanicals on this car are excellent, with power steering, great power brakes, everything works, speedo, gauge package, tach, lights, all of it. The exhaust sounds great! The engine in the car is a correct and original matching numbers 3.8L V6, nice, quiet, and good on gas!
Whatever way you look at this car she smiles back at you begging to have its top down.
The interior is also very good to excellent with no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in the dash, the steering wheel, and touchables all feel great, along with the rugs, and the top is also in very good condition. Overall the interior is in really good shape. This car is ready to enjoy, simply get in and drive.
The underside of this car is very good condition, with two minor spots that need attention in the future.Minor surface stuff from sitting but that is all, drive it while you fix it in the next 5 years. All original pans, rockers, floors, and overall in very good to excellent condition. The paint is very good and shines nicely, not perfect, but good driver quality, please see the pictures. Buy it and drive it right now.
In short, one really cool Pony Convertible that isspring and summer ready!
