This is a 1981 black cab from England, diesel, right hand drive. This car has been on the CBS TV show Elementary and also used by Bloomingdales one Christmas week. Ive also occasionally brought friends to the airport, done some weddings, parades, and a few car shows. At the airports Ive found that with this car, the cops dont hassle you to leave. I imported it in 2009 from England and it was my regular daily driver and kept outside for five years, and although it looks good, it is now garaged because it has rust issues. There are rust holes in the wheelwells as viewed from the trunk, and I have included pictures of them. This is the main reason it is listed as fair condition, although it runs well. The windshield wipers work, but need attention. I have hesitated selling it for the past year, but could really use the garage space. One thing I like about it is that it is one of the only cars that was designed for the passengers, not the driver. The rear seats also fold down so that people can face each other. Its like a small living room. The head clearance is mandated for a top hat, and the floor area is flat. It came with an aluminum handicap ramp, although Ive never used it. The passenger side in front is also a fold down seat. Im selling this car as is, so please have a mechanic inspect it. Includes a spare tire, spare hubcaps, and the user manual. Has a clean title.
