Details: 1978 Porsche 911 Targa which is in excellent condition. The car has been in my family for the last 23+ years and always stored inside and has hardly even seen rain. All modifications done to the car are removable and can easily be returned to its more original state. Roughly 4 to 5 years ago, the flat 6 was removed and a fuel injected all-aluminum LS1 conversion was performed. All of the parts were sourced from Renegade Hybrids and professionally installed (no expenses spared). The car has roughly 500hp and is an absolute pleasure to drive! The aluminum small block weights the same as the fully dressed flat 6 did. The LS engine was torn down, block was resurfaced, new crank installed, new high compression pistons, new high lift cam, heads were rebuilt and valve job done, LS6 intake manifold installed and completed with a tune to match. The engine runs excellent and is neck braking fast! The Porsche 915 transaxle was opened up and a helical limited slip differential installed which nicely puts all 500hp to the ground with virtually no tire slip. All of the factory Porsche gauges run from the LS engine. The car itself has 124k miles on it with no accidents. The dash has zero cracks. It has brand new Toyo Proxes on all 4 corners. The car has many other modifications including Recaro seats, 5 pt harnesses, BOLT-IN roll cage (easily removable), 944 Turbo brake upgrade, builstein adjustables on all 4 corners, adjustable strut tower bar, sway bars. The car will come with some stock parts, maintenance records, and extras. It will not come with the original engine. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
