This Mustang presently has a 289 4V and C4 transmission, runs and drives great, winning awards at car shows. Im not sure why engine/trans conversion was done, but it was done very clean. In the past year I have purchased many hard to find parts to restore this Mustang to its original glory. Fresh 390 engine date coded Dec 1966, car was built March 2, 1967, top loader 4spd RUG-M, exhaust manifolds, drive shaft, bell housing, fly wheel, fan, motor mounts, clutch petal, misc Hurst shifter parts. All go with the price of the car.

390 engine was professionally built to factory specs (except .30 over) using only high quaility components and machine work, 4 spd trans may need new synchronizers. Drivers side exhaust manifold has a broken bolt tab, it is repairable. This Mustang is originally painted Lime Gold. Top and windows work very well, but may need adjustment for a better fit. Power top works as it should with no oil leaks. Top clamps are excellent. Exterior of top is in excellent condition, inside of top shows some wear. Undercarriage and trunk are in good condition only having some surface rust. Interior, seats, carpet, dash is in exccllent condition. Car was in Alabama for the last 40 years. I have had the car in Louisiana for one year. Due to personal circumstance, I cannot do restoration.

This is the very interesting story on this rare Mustang. Car was built in San Jose, CA and delivered to a Ford executive at Ford Motor Co Aeronutronic Division in Newport Beach, CA. This had to be an interesting person to order this rare Mustang with these unique options, making this Mustang ONE of ONE.

Analysis: Good Deal, 18.0% below market avg. What's this?
