In collaboration with Disney, Ford built the Magic Skyway exhibit at the 1965 Worldandrsquo;s Fair in New York. Certain Ford models were selected to be featured in the exhibit, some turntable displays and others were attached to a moving track. Visitors would sit in the car of their choice and ride the Magic Skyway. The selected cars were delivered to a local Ford dealer where their drivetrains were removed and several large diameter holes were drilled into their undercarriage and radiator mounts to be used as attachment points to the trackandrsquo;s ride mechanism. After the Worldandrsquo;s Fair ended, they were returned to the dealer, their drivetrains reinstalled and sold as used cars.

Her current owner is a diplomat and Vice President of the International Thunderbird Club (www.intl-thunderbirdclub.com).Margaret was acquired from a private collection in early 2013. Extensive restoration has been completed to make her a driver; although her engine compartment is untouched and her original drivetrain is still installed.

Her production date of August 3, 1963, makes her a very early production 1964 Thunderbird.

She arrived at the AACA Museum (161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA) in early September 2016 and is located on a turntable in the lobby. She has received much exposure in trade publications. Some are listed :
