Details: The car was purchased new in 1964, in Daly City, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), and I purchased it from the original owner in March 1971, with 27,000 miles on it. It has remained in the Bay Area, and has been garaged for the majority of its life. It was mainly purchased for my wife, because she wanted it to drive our children around, as well as for normal shopping trips. I also used it as a commute car from time-to-time, but not very often. Over the years, as the kids got older, it was used less and less, but we were so attached to it we never really wanted to sell it. However, since my wife has passed, and Iandrsquo;m not getting any younger, I figure it is now time to sell it.

The car has a floor stick-shift and runs good. The carburetors have recently been rebuilt, and a new fuel pump and gas tank have also been installed. The interior is the original vinyl with no cracks or tears. It is also in need of new floor mats and a paint job. Corvairs have always been notorious for leaking oil through the O-rings, but this car has no leaks and has been real tight that way.

Analysis: Good Deal, 33.0% below market avg. What's this?
