Known History.

Purchased new from Rose Motor Sales Inc. in Tiffin Ohio on March 24th 1955 by Mrs. Kathryn M. Kalbfleisch. The Kalbfleisch family owned the American Standard Company which manufactured ceramic kitchen and bathroom products. Mrs. Kalbfleisch could have purchased any automobile she desired and she chose this Cadillac. Mr. Rose was so proud to sell Mrs. Kalbfleisch a new Cadillac that he photographed the car in front of her home upon delivery with Kodachrome COLOR film! The Cadillac was purchased primarily for business trips to Cleveland Ohio. The Cadillac was chauffer driven on these trips by none other than Mr. Rose of Rose Motor Sales or one of his sons. Rose Motor Sales also maintained the Cadillac for Mrs. Kalbfleisch. Keeping it ready for action at a momentandrsquo;s notice. Mrs. Kalbfleisch had no heirs and when she passed away her estate was left to Heidelberg College with the exception of her beloved 1955 Cadillac. The Cadillac was given to Mr. Rose as a thank you for years of excellent service.
