Ground up restoredand#44; one of the best examples existing. Nash set out to impress and they did. Hiring Italian designer Pinin Farina sure gave the cars a unique look. The Ambassador was the flagship modeland#44; 7 inches longer then the Statesman. It also featured the Jetfireand#44; biggest engine available. Mechanics Illustrated regarded it as one of the best riding cars in America. Another unique feature was the twin travel beds. Both seats fold flat into a bed. Used by traveling salesmen and banned at some outdoor movie theaters! This was a clean rust free car to start with. Rock solid floors and body. High quality paint with smooth finish. New chromeand#44; excellent glass and rubber. Motor compartment is detailed like it just rolled out of the factory. Clean trunk with new whitewall spare. Very nice and tidy interior.
